Do lifestyle choices affect the onset of Alzheimer’s?

Scores of people have had their lives affected by Alzheimer’s disease. This exasperating and ultimately heartbreaking illness can rob loved ones of their ability to think clearly and function independently at sometimes a shockingly young age. Nowadays, doctors are seeing early onset Alzheimer’s symptoms in patients as young as their 50s—and, sometimes, in patients even younger than that.
What might be surprising is the idea that the onset of Alzheimer’s may actually be connected to certain lifestyle factors, and knowing what these factors are and how to avoid them might potentially help you or someone you love devise a lifestyle strategy. This strategy could prevent, treat or reverse memory loss or other neurodegenerative disorders.
Dr. Russell Blaylock, a renowned former neurosurgeon turned nutritionist, watched both of his parents die from Parkinson’s disease, and he has dedicated his career to understanding these conditions.
Dr. Blaylock’s findings are now available in a free video documentary presentation that highlights seven lifestyle factors he has identified that (according to Dr. Blaylock) significantly elevate the risk of getting Alzheimer’s disease or other brain disorders. While this may sound alarming, Dr. Blaylock says that all of these lifestyle factors are within a person’s control. They all involve the way we eat or other voluntary lifestyle choices that can be changed.
